Summer Utah Trip

We took a trip to visit the grandparents back in July. We were there for about a week and a half, I was sad to come back to this heat, but we had sooo much fun when we were there in Utah! Can I just say, I love utah! I miss it so much...360 more days :) Anyway, we made the ever dreaded 9-10 hour drive, but it wasn't too bad. Not exactly fun, but bearable. Kolten doesn't like to sit that long in the car. But once we got there, Im sure you can guess the FIRST place we HAD to go to :)

This was Kolten's first trip up to the animals that he really was interested in them. Before he was too little to care much. Here the kids and I are in the chicken coop.

And of course...Britlyn couldn't wait ONE MORE SECOND to ride the horse. We weren't saddling up today, so she just got to sit on it, but that held her over till the next day :) True cowgirl at heart! I love it!

The next day we got to go to Nephi and go to the Ute Stampede. Grandpa, Aunt Chelsie and Aunt abbie all got to ride in the horse parade, and of course Britlyn wanted to ride too

These 2 pictures are backwards, but here is the guy that lands into the arena from an airplane as he carries the flag. It was really cool.

Here is a picture of both the girls in the arena. Chelsie is the very 1st one in the picture in purple, abbie is the 2nd to last one. i didn't realize that when i took this that they were both in the picture :) that's why chelsie is barely in it!
