Oh Happy Day!!

KOLTEN IS CRAWLING!! We have been waiting for this day for a while :) I am sad to see my baby grow up, but at 30 lbs he wasn't the lightest thing to carry around, and he was at the age where he wants to be moving and doing things constantly so it would frustrate him and he'd get onery, but now he is one happy boy, and my back is also greatful :) It is so amazing how they catch on to things. We have been practicing with him for probly 2 months now, and nothing. not really even an interest. He would go from sitting to hands and knees, to belly and then back to hands and knees and then sitting, but would never move forward. The last couple weeks, he started to somehow figure out a way around a little bit. He would just flop himself on his belly and then sit back up and then do it again, and he actually got places real slowly, but nothing too major!

We were all sitting here, not doing much of anything, and all of a sudden luke said" Shianne, shianne" and pointed to him, I look over and he is crawling across the living room floor. He went from the couch to the entertainment center. I was in TOTAL shock. He went from absolutely no crawling at all, to full blown crawling! It is still weird to me, but kinda nice for now :) He is already fast at it, and thinks he is such a big boy. He will turn around and look at you and smile a huge smile and then clap his hands :)

I can't believe how fast he has grown, it is so fun to see him learn new things! This is definately a big one for us, just cuz of how big he is! I think i'm going to have to go baby proof now, cuz he caught on quick and he is FAST already! I hate to see what he'll be like when he gets really good at it :) ( I can hear my kitchen cupboards opening and closing, haha, sounds like he is exploring the house away! so cute)
