4th of July

This year for the 4th of July we just stayed in Arizona and tried to make the best of it! Since it was on a Sunday, there wasn't much we could do since they still celebrated it here on Sunday. We went to church and then we hung out on the front lawn and we let Britlyn do a few fireworks. Fireworks here are a little different. Its basically just popping confetti out of little cardboard things. They don't sell cool lighting fireworks here. I did manage to have a few boxes of sparklers left over from New Years, so we did get to do those. Those are Britlyn's favorite anyway, so it worked out good! We hung out on the lawn and had a few snacks for a little bit while we waited for the city fireworks to start. We walked down to the end of the neighborhood and sat down on the little grassy area that was right across from the spring training fields where they were doing the festivities. We watched the fireworks there. Kolten was entertained for a few seconds but then after that he wasn't too interested. Britlyn liked them! It was a fun little 20 minute show! It is definately alot different than the celebrations we are used to in Delta, but we made the best of it, and it was still pretty fun :)
