This summer we have already been to the pool A TON! Our good friends moved into an aptartment and we go swimming there alot! It's a nice get-a-way from the house and who doesnt love a girls day at the pool and little kids for your kids to play with??
Britlyn and Kolten absolutely love swimming! Kolten is fearless in the water! He loves to kick his legs so fast and splash like crazy even though he is splashing his face, he still loves it! Sometimes he makes a surprised face and gasps, but goes right back to splashing after he laughs at himself. He is a pretty funny and happy baby! He loves to stick his face in the water and make us think he's going to drink it or something. Sometimes he does! Yuck! He loves to chew on the little green balls that hold his canopy on his floatie, which makes him lean way over, which makes me think he's going to sink himself, but thanks to Jaymie, we have the best floatie around! :)
Britlyn loves the water as long as she doesnt go "underf" as she says. not sure why she puts an "F" on the end, but I think its cute :) She loves to go in the " hot pool" (hot tub) and sit there. She loves to go back and forth. She still relies pretty heavily on floaties to swim with but that's ok. I've come to realize that whatever makes her comfortable is ok. If she doesnt learn to swim at 3 or 4 oh well. She will eventually! She loves to jump in and have you catch her. I would have to say that is her favorite thing to do when swimming. She talks all the time about going under, but she's not bigger yet so she can't do it yet! haha ok, whatever makes her feel better :) Mostly I think any little kid goes swimming for the snacks :) Every mom brings snacks when they go swimming and all kids know it! lolWe have gone swimming more times than I can count already and even though the water was a little cold at first...this 90-100 degree weather is warming it up pretty fast!

We bought her this life jacket for Powell, cuz it was on sale, we let her try it out and now we can't keep it off her!

Kolten is such a good baby, He will even nap in the stroller so we can swim. (as long as he has his dog)

We usually do lunch but this particular day we just did snacks. Like I said, she loves to go just for the snacks sometimes :)
