Nursery!!

Today was Kolten's first OFFICIAL day of nursery! I can't believe he is 18 months old already! I am totally bummed I didn't get a picture of him in his new church outfit with vest and tie, but I will for easter at least!! We have been taking him there for a few weeks actually but we usually stayed in there with him to help out cuz they were short on teachers, and it was an excuse to let him go there instead of wander the halls! But today he was LEGAL to go :) I have dropped him off a time or two to go teach in Y.W. and he did perfectly fine, but today, since it was officially now time to go to nursery, he cried! He loved it before, but not today! He only cried a little while and then was fine, but it still made us sad. We kept checking on him and I have to say, it still isn't easy to watch him sit in there and cry even though we went through this with Britlyn and she got over it, but it was kinda nice to not have to carry any bags around, and to go to class.
He is growing up so much so fast and it's killing me, but I love seeing all the new things! Here are a few things he is doing at 18 months

Learned to Jump! On the tramp, ground, off things, anywhere! He loves to jump! He only gets about an inch off the ground but its oh so cute, and he things he is oh so big :)

Is starting to copy words. He doesn't say the full word clearly, but will try and attempt a sound alike! SO cute :)

Copies everything Britlyn does! He has grown quite fond of her lately and LOVES to play with her. He will come up and pull on her shirt, or push her back or whatever he can to get her to come play with him. Or he will scream "Nen Nen" at the top of his lungs until she comes. I love that he calles her nen nen!

LOVES popsicles! No joke, he eats about 5 a day. Dont worry, i buy the mini slow melts.

LOVES caprisuns! Drinks at least 2 a day. If he's lucky I give in to 3.

Is DONE with bottles!!!! YAY still gets milk in sippies, but no more bottles :)

Still loves his doggy more than ever!

Is a total daddies boy

Will not eat unless he feeds it to himself. Does not matter if its his favorite thing in the world, HE has to do it. (such a messy time)

Will not drink cold milk. However we are working on this!

Loves to climb on the tramopline, he will push the slide over to it and climb right up!

He is obsessed with bikes!

LOVES to play "Ba Ba" basketball. Probly the cutest thing ever is when he tries to dunk it :)

Loves to sing Itsy Bitsy Spider and Wheels on the bus! I think we have another music lover on our hands!

He is SO sweet to Britlyn, whenever she is sad he will go up to her and give her a big bear hug and then he pets her head! Such a sweet brother.

He is Almost out of the hair pulling stage! This used to be a daily occurence of about 5-10 times, it is now only once in a while! :)

He LOVES ice! He says "I" and points to his ear for some odd reason. but that means ice

Got his first REAL hair cut and his hair looks SO much better than it did! He now looks like a little boy!

Loves trucks, going bye bye, is totally into babies (im hoping that is a good thing), and I couldn't imagine life without him! He is such a sweet sweet boy, but sure knows how to give us a run for our money! He is super active, never slows down, but we love it!
