What an adventure we have been on! I can't believe that we are moved out of our house and into a new one that is in UTAH! Never did I see that really happening, but we are happy here! So happy here! But I am really not liking it that I left some AWESOME people. Im not even so sure I can call them friends, they were more like family to us! And if you really want to know how big of a baby I am then yes, I have cried numerous times over leaving them :( anyway, i'll get off my soap box now...
Mom Dad and Kaydon came down to help us move! and they were AWESOME as always! We really couldnt have done it without their help! For one, I have THE most amazing packer as a father! Seriously, he got all our stuff into ONE 26 ft truck and 4 cars :) We didn't think it was going to fit but that wasn't an option for dad! Secondly, I have the most HELPFUL mother! She packed so many boxes and cracked that whip so we would get it done...otherwise it probly wouldn't have gotten done in time! And last but not least, I have one little, but bigger, most BUFF,Strong, Ripped, good looking, SINGLE 16 yr old (the list goes on) brother that helped dad and Luke load the truck. (he would die if he read this lol) They were such big help, they have noooo idea!
We loaded the truck allllll day monday June 27th, we were still loading the truck by tuesday the 28th. Then dad mom and Kaydon left with the truck and 2 cars while we stayed back for another night. Luke couldn't get his official paper signed until the 28th, and britlyn had an ENT appt that afternoon. So we figured we would just stay another night and then leave in the morning with the last few odds and ends things!
It was such a bitter sweet time leaving! We made alot of memories in that house! We moved there when Britlyn was 6 months old so thats the only house we have really raised our kids in! It was a good house for us, and we lived in an AMAZING ward. I probly won't find one quite like that one! As we left the house and pulled out for the last time, it was kinda sureal. It didn't seem like we were leaving (until you looked in the back and saw our dishwasher in the back of our van lol) for good. Just felt like a little vacation to Grandma and Grandpas house. But as the trip went on, I was more and more greatful I didn't have to make that drive any more! 10 hours is a bit long for the kids :)
So we are out of that house and on to a new chapter in life! We had no job, no house, and not even a storage unit for our stuff...but I always said, we are leaving on a prayer that it'll all work out...and so far it has :)
Carly brought her kids over to see us leave and say goodbye! Its never fun saying goodbye, and I will admit it was a bit hard seeing Britlyn say goodbye to her best friend. But its reassuring to know that we will see them again when they ever decide to move to utah :) so chop chop!
