Happy Halloween

This Halloween was once again a fun one! Britlyn was talking about what she would be for months and changing her mind about it every few days. I finally took her to the store and just made her pick out a costume and Belle is what she decided on. Kolten made such a cute little pirate! Luke and i weren't going to dress up, but Friday night i decided i couldn't be a boring parent and not dress up for the Ward party, so i thought about it all day and I didn't really want to go out and buy us costumes, so i thought of this. I did end up buying luke's hat and my wig, but for coming up with these costumes a few hours before the party I would say we did pretty good! And doesn't Luke just make such a cute Cat in the hat? :)

My costume was kind of a dud. No one at the party really got it. They just kept saying "Oh you make a cute Thing 1." I even had one person ask me so who's Thing 2. I pointed to my belly, and they looked at me all confused, and I said The baby is Thing 2. Still a little confused looking, I said, I'm pregnant! Then they got it.

It was still fun though! And luke is such a good sport. It makes it fun for the kids and we have fun doing it too!

They did a trunk-or-treat after the party and Britlyn was beyond EXCITED!! She couldn't wait to go and once she got too she was so excited about every piece of candy she got and had to tell me that she said "Trunk-or-treat" after every car! She is so cute! Even Kolten got to go a little bit. he would hold his little bucket out and then look inside after they would give him a piece! It's so fun having kids to share the holidays with!
