Update Time....Long post!

Well I decided to do an update post that will probly be boring to most but i am doing it mostly for myself! Britlyn has been growing up SO fast, and she amazes me with what she knows! Im not biased but she is seriously the cutest kid on the face of the earth and one smart cookie too! She is always making us laugh with the things she says! She is now just barely 22 months old and she is speaking complete sentences, she knows the entire alphabet song and can sing it quite fast all on her own, she counts to 13 really fast, cuz i tell her to count to 10 when i want her to give me a few more seconds so she figured out how to count real fast :) needless to say that trick doesn't work anymore! She is the sweetest little girl but she has got every personality you could wish for! to the extreme! She is always on the go, and loves to be outside, she pretty much lives out there, hence the tan skin! She is learning her shapes and knows most of her colors, but still needs work on those too! She loves princesses, and Wall-e and EEEEEEvvvvvaaaaa(as she would say) and still of course she loves her waboo's! (sippy cups with water) There's a funny story behind why she calls a drink a waboo, when she was about 9 months old she started to sign, and like most kids, she kinda modified the signs to her liking, well the sign for drink, was rubbing her fingers up and down on her bottom lip making whatever sound that is! :) well she eventually grew out of signing but instead of just saying drink, she now tries to make the sound as if she was moving her bottom lip with her fingers! so hence the sound of WABOO! anyway, she loves meat! for some reason she really likes it! haha she also loves to jump, take the dogs on walks, play with her babies and of course real ones when she gets the chance! She loves to talk on the phone and watch her own home videos! she loves to read books, and no she can't read yet, but she will look at pictures and make something up! it is so cute! some books she has memorized and will quote some of the pages but she loves to read! She loves to do puzzles! I went out and bought her a new puzzle with ABC's cuz i thought it would kinda give her a little more of a challenge since her other puzzles were super easy! she could do em in like 10 seconds without even looking, so i got her the abc one thinking, oh this will take her a while to learn where they go and what not, uh nope! after about 3 times of me helping her, bam! she could do it all on her own and she is starting to learn what each letter is as she puts it in its place! ahhhh, i can't keep up! but she also loves to sing and can sing countless number of songs! She has been really into Dora and mickey mouse club house lately! She loves to talk! when she gets done with nursery or anything she went and did for the day, she will sit and tell you about it all day and for a few days after! She loves to tell you what she did wherever she went! Its pretty cute! She loves the park and to go on the slide! i don't think she will ever outgrow that. she still isn't a big fan of the swing though! She loves people and if she knows you have a name, she is instantly your friend! She is in love with her nursery teachers especially dana who she will point out to anyone and everyone during sacrament meeting, and also our friends! (She still talks about you jaymie!) haha she loves to have kids come over and play! although i've got to find her some little girls to play with, she's got all boy friends! She is potty trained, all but at night, and yes we still have to take her in and help her cuz she is still learning to pull up and down her own pants! she is still kinda young! she loves to help me with the laundry now that we have the new front loader washer and dryers. She is always saying the FUNNIEST things to us, that we wonder where in the world she picked up on them, here are a few!

Mommy: britlyn, mommy will do it! Britlyn: No MOM! I the britlyn will do it! (she won that)

Mommy: Britlyn you are being such a little stinker! Britlyn: Mom stop it! You are being a yittle Tinker!

Mommy: Oh look at my cute little baby!! Britlyn: (looking at me all disgusted) I not a baby, I the Britlyn!

Luke was outside and she really wanted to play with him so she runs to the back door and says: Hurry up Daddy! Chop Chop yittle mister!

Britlyn: Mommy, come here to the britlyn brittle NOW! ( lukes mom calls her peanut brittle)

I showed her a picture of herself one day and she says, : "oh i so darn cute!" and then giggled!

We were driving to utah and luke and I told her when she wakes up that she could see Aunt Abbie, the next thing we know, we look back and she is pretending to be asleep! so i just thought she was trying to go to sleep when all of a sudden we hear! "AWAKE NOW! see abbie??" haha

We were all sitting on the couch one day, Britlyn tooted, and all of a sudden she says, Ooooh Britlyn, toot like Mommy! haha :) I think she learned that from her dad!

recently we were at a wedding reception that was outside (i didn't find this one so funny but she did) and we were standing there on the grass and for some reason she thought it was ok to go pee on the grass, so in the middle of everyone she yells, Mommy look, Pee pee on grass YEAH!!! as she smiles and points down, i look to see pee running down her leg! really she is potty trained, but for some reason that day she thought it would be funny!! needless to say, we left! fast!

When she wants your attention she will run up to you, and grab your face usually and look at you in the eyes and say "Yook at me ok" or " Mom yisten to me right now!"

She is always saying the funniest things, and most of them you probly have to be there to hear her say them or they don't seem funny, but she really has such a fun personality! And at times, Not so fun! but we love her to death! and wouldn't trade her for the world!!

That's the update on Britlyn, now for me and the pregnancy, we are just chucking along nicely! It is going by really fast and i can't believe i'm almost half way done! 2 more weeks and we find out what it is! we are super excited! and I know right now Britlyn has really no idea what is relly happening, even though she will say there is a baby in my tummy, i don't think she understands! but I haven't been sick a day and am pretty sure by now im not going to! The belly is finally starting to grow but i still feel like I'm super fat, and at the inbetween stage where you can't really where maternity clothes cuz they all drown you and you look desperate and you can't really wear normal clothes cuz they're all getting a LITTLE tight!! so i'll just hibernate a few more weeks and hopefully that'll help :) I can at least feel the baby move now! i forget how awesome of a feeling that is! I love it! I really don't have much to complain about when being pregnant, other than im tired and moody! :) but that's an all the time thing im sure to some haha! Im am really looking forward to these next 2 weeks to go by fast so we can find out what the baby is, but then 3 weeks after that, luke deploys, so we are SO NOT looking forward to that! Its getting super close and im getting alot more nervous and scared! Hopefully it will go by fast and he will be home before we know it, but he won't be home till christmas, and when i think of it that way, that seems like forever! but the only way to get through it is one day at a time! So that's what we'll do! hopefully the summer will keep us busy and it will go fast! He leaves May 27th to vegas for a training and then they will probly fly out to Iraq from there on june 10th! He only has one more cycle of work and then they relieve them of duty to spend time with family and get some out processing deployment stuff done! I can't believe its so close, but im ready to just get it going and over with so i can quit thinking about it! We've known for a long time, and its a long 6 months when you know its coming! :( Britlyn is sure going to miss him! she has really started to take to daddy lately! She has always been a HUGE mommies girl, but she has really wanted daddy alot lately! and I think that is what is going to be the saddest part of this whole deployment! How do you explain to a 2 yr old, why her daddy isn't around! hopefully web cam and the phone will help! But she already asks for him EVERY morning she wakes up! Where'd daddy go?? :( yeah its already sad, and he's usually only 15 minutes away! anyway, enough of the depressing stuff! We are redoing our kitchen and trying to get it all painted and the cupboards sanded and painted, curtains made and hung, all that fun stuff ya know! hopefully it'll be done in time to work on the babies room! We'll see what it is first though! Sorry if this post was long and boring, but like i said, it's more for me to remember stuff than for everyone else! so sorry!
