Staying busy...

We have been staying pretty busy here in arizona. Trying to entertain Kolten and Britlyn keeps us on our toes! Im sure we will be going crazy with a third :) but so excited! Here is a little update on the little kidlets..

 Kolten is almost 17 months old! Where has the time gone!? He is also a very destructive individual! VERY! He is into EVERYTHING! Alot of people will say this about their kids, but seriously, he finds things I didn't even know existed or that I would never think he could get! He is SO fast at running, and its so cute to see his little 34 lb body waddle when he runs. He is a dancer and LOVES music. I think that's something all our kids will love :) He does this little leg shake thing when he dances and it makes us laugh EVERY time. He takes about 2 baths a day. For one is constantly dirty, and 2 he just LOVES to take baths. He is interested in the potty. He loves to go in and sit on the toilet and then gets down and flushes it. Sometimes he will even rip off a little piece of toilet paper and throw it in. (is always has pants on when we put him on it) maybe someday he will really want to DO something in the toilet besides splash :) He is ALL boy, there isn't much we have found that will scare him or that he won't try! (Luke loves this). He is very sneaky...loves to take things he knows he can't have and hide. Its funny to see him hide in places where he is in plain site, but to him, he's hiding :) He is such a sweet little boy, loves his family and you can see it. Loves Britlyn ( Nen Nen) and gets so excited to pick her up from school. He is a TOTAL daddy's boy! LOVES his daddy. He signs mostly but will say a few words. Doggy (Goggy), dad, mom, Nen nen (britlyn) na na(snack)-this is said probly over 100 times a day. Ot (hot), guck (truck or duck) Bapa (grandpa) Mama(grandma) Gock(sock) Ni Ni(goodnight) and of course bye bye. This is also said 100 times a day. He is always wanting to go outside or in the car. He will sign bath, more, doggy, dad, eat, drink, ball, fish, baby, milk, stinky and to be honest, thats all he really needs to communicate is those few signs :) he either wants to eat, be with dad, drink something, have his doggy and of course his all time fave, take a bath. So he is content with those signs!

He loves to torture Britlyn. Most the time he does it just cuz she reacts to it. Especially loves to pull her hair. But there are moments when he will run up to her and bear hug her :) They play pretty good together, sometimes a little too good! Those are times when I find them both on the tramp etc. doing things that give me heart attacks! haha.

 I had to post this picture because if you notice he has 3 little red fingernails :) Thanks to big sister for those lovely beauties :)

 Britlyn loves to make bread or anything for that matter. She is constantly helping me in the kitchen making goodies or dinner and Kolten doesn't like being left out on the action either.

 Luke popped the lens out on these glasses and gave them to kolten. I think they were some 3D glasses from the theatre. He looked so funny in them. I love it that he is wearing the shirt that he is with these glasses :)

 He loves to climb. It doesn't matter what or where, if he can fit he will try it. The ET cupboards are a good place :)

Britlyn is growing so fast and is now 3 1/2 years old! I can't believe she will be 4 this summer. She loves going to school and is a little ahead of her class but she still loves it! She is learning how to spell words and how to sound out words. She loves to type and write words. She is constantly asking how to spell words. I love to see her interested in learning and seeing things click in her little brain. She is such a smart little cookie and I love it! I hope it stays with her  haha. She loves being a big sister and is ever so excited about Baby brother to get here. Although her baby sister is still coming, just not yet :) (so she says) She really wanted a sister, but she is happy to just have another baby coming! She loves to talk about him and be involved in feeling him kick and move and gets so excited when she feels it. She loves to read books. We love to go to the library and check out books. We read them at night before bed time and within a couple nights of reading them, she has them memorized. Usually word for word. She loves to play with friends and is constantly asking for someone to come over! She loves to ride her bike and be outside. She loves jumping on the tramp, doing flips and practicing her cartwheels and hand stands on the ground. She loves to dance and sing most of all! She knows more songs than I can remember and is constantly singing them. She is such a mommies girl which makes it nice to even out the love between both kids since Kolten prefers dad :) She hates her hair done but is getting better at allowing me to do it. She is such a sweet little thing, and I am not sure what I would do without her! She is my right hand throughout the day with helping out with Kolten and jobs. I absolutely love being with her!
