2 1/2 yrs and 4 months

We took Britlyn in for her 2 1/2 yr check up and she did so awesome! She let the dr do everything he needed to and she was actually excited and talkative through it! Much to both luke and my surprise! Every single time we have taken her to the Dr before, it has been a screaming episode! I think having her go to all my dr apt's with Dr Clinch while pregnant made her realize that Dr's aren't so bad! She is a little girl, but not too small! She's actually just right! She weighs 29 lbs which is the 50% and she is 36 in which is 64% for her age, her head is 50 cm!
Britlyn is such a smart little girl, at 2 1/2 she is speaking every word possible, There isn't a limit on her vocabulary. She loves to help out with Brother and is a little too helpful sometimes in tryin to move him or pick him up. Luckily he weighs so much she can't really lift him without help! She has been potty trained for almost a yr! She knows all her ABC's and can pick them out, she knows about 40+ songs and she LOVES to sing anywhere she is, the store, on the toilet, in the bath, in the car, in bed, everywhere! She knows all her colors, counts to about 20 with a little help after 17, loves to be outside riding bikes, jumping, going on walks, she likes to shop, she loves puzzles, her memory game, movies, coloring, play doh, fruit of any kind, babies babies and more babies. she will always be obsessed and she has such a sweet motherly instinct about her! sometimes a little too much :) She has the prettiest big brown eyes that i love! She has such a love for life! She loves her family and grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins (lately baby Lily), and friends! She is such a joy to have around! But don't get me wrong, she may be small, but boy can she dish it out! She has about every personality you could ask for in a little girl! From one extreme to the other! She can be super sweet and randomly run up to you and kiss you and tell you how much she loves you, and the next second she can be screaming mad with ear peircing screams :) but we love her just the same no matter what she throws at us! She is so polite (when she wants to be) and tries to use the biggest words she can! The other day she said, dad I think this bed is a little confused! haha, not sure what she meant, but she wanted to use a big word, so she did :) she will always make you laugh for whatever reason, and make you feel better if you are having a bad day. This girl can detect any emotion I am feeling! Maybe thats cuz we were so close these last few months! I can be a little bugged by something and she will say, don't be mad mommy! When im not even showing the least bit of frustration to her! She is always there to give a hug and kiss and make you feel better and I am amazed that at such a young age she can recognize things like that! She is my best friend, and we grew so close to each other over daddy's deployment! I am so greatful she is apart of my life and wouldn't trade her for the world! We love you Britlyn

They couldn't see Kolten that day but we wanted to weigh him just for fun and this little tike is a chub! he weighs 19.6 lbs. Thats actually an unofficial weight cuz he had his clothes on! But still, they said that was the weight of about a 9 month old :) He is about 29 in long, but that too is unofficial, luke and I were just trying to do it ourselves with a little tape measure :) his head is 44 cm! So im curious what his stats will be when we go in for his check up, to see how close we really are! He is so chubby and is already in 6-9 months and some 12 month clothes! He is such a HAPPY baby! all the time! He hardly ever cries, only if he's hungry or tired or getting pounced on! He loves his jumperoo and will jump in it for quite a while! He loves his hands! He holds them ALL the time! When he eats, when he sleeps, when he's just sitting there, always. Its so cute, he will hold them and usually just lay them across his chest! He likes to stare at them and usually ends up going cross eyed and its soo funny! He has tons of little fat rolls everywhere and we love them! He isn't that great of a sleeper but he is starting to sleep all night! Every once in a while he will wake up at 5 to eat, but lately he sleeps about 9 or 10 to 7 or 8. so not too bad! He naps at random times of the day! I try to get him on a schedule but he has a different opinion about that! Lately he just takes cat naps...not very liked by me :) but we take advantage of them still! He will roll to one side, but not all the way over! He will NOT stand or put any weight on his legs, but i don't blame hime! Who would want to put all that weight on those tiny legs :) He loves to be up and in on the action of things and he too LOVES to be outside!He loves to be talked to, laughed at and smiled at! He will smile at you even if you look at him! He looks bald, but he actually has a lot more hair than it looks, but he is definately going to be my blue eyed blond! He is such a happy baby! We are so greatful to be blessed with happy healthy children and we love every little thing about them! We couldn't have asked for better more beautiful children! we are so greatful they are apart of our lives!
