Daddy...Our Soldier
I was going through some pictures on and i found these! I am so proud of this soldier of mine, and so greatful that he is all mine for ever and ever! He is the best daddy in the world, and I know he is dying to get home and hold his babies! I can't imagine what he must be going through and how he must feel! When i see pictures like these, they pretty much bring me to tears! i don't know why, but they do, and I get a little feeling of emptyness! I cant wait till we get to hold daddy again and have him meet his son for the first time! Its going to be one of those days we will never forget! And its so close...only about 6 more weeks! We are so excited and can't believe we are almost done and have survived another deployment! Hopefully we won't have to ever endure one again! I am thankful for this trial though, it has taught me alot about what i want in life, and i think it has taught me alot about being a mother and appreciating your spouse! I really think i needed that, cuz before he left, i took alot of things for granted! This was a huge wake up call for me, and to be honest, I think everyone needs to experience a little fraction of something like this, we'd all appreciate our spouses more, and not take so much for granted! Luke you are the best daddy i could ask for, for these kids, even when you are away! And I couldn't ask for a more dedicated and loving, understanding husband! You are amazing and I totally look up to you for what you are doing and going through! Cuz as hard as it is on my end...I could never be on your end! Thank you so much for supporting us and doing what it takes to make sure we are safe and happy! We love you so much! and i must say, you do make one good looking soldier :)

I did have a nice little chuckle at the second picture. The glasses just aren't Luke. He looks different. :o)
Can't wait until your family can be together!

Shianne, I think you are such a strong person and a wonderful mother! Your positive outlook through all of this has really impressed me and made me stop and think more about my blessings! I'm so grateful to Luke and your family, and all the other families out there going through this, for sacrificing for the freedom and safety that we all enjoy and take for granted way too often! Thank you!
Amazing post!! We are praying for you and your little family. THANK YOU LUKE!! You are amazing. WE appreciate the courage you have to serve our country. We do take so many things for granted. It just takes losing them for us to appreciate them. Thanks for the reminder Shianne. I also like the last pic... it's pretty funny. Love you and miss you guys
Shianne, I love you and I am so excited for you three to get your Luke back!
