Santa Clause

Last night we had our ward christmas party! I made an apple pie for the Pie Contest and I won! Thanks to dad for a really good recipe! Dad's pie never fails!! haha, Britlyn enjoyed the food and the nativity program! She's been really into baby jesus lately (thanks to a little toy nativity set) and then she was so so excited when she saw santa! Its fun this year to have her actually understand what santa is! She loves him and was so excited and started screaching when he walked in the room! She kept saying santa lap, santa lap after I asked her if she wanted to sit on santa's lap! It was so cute! I couldn't believe how excited she was standing in line to see him! I thought for sure we'd get up there and once i put her on his lap she'd scream but she didn't! I put her on his lap and she kinda got a confused scared look...and i thought, oh here it comes..and then santa started waving and so she thought she'd join in the fun! SHe sat there and waved to everyone watching her as she said, hi...hi...hi...then when we got done she said treat! cuz she knew he was handing out little treat bags! so she got a treat and off we went! I was so glad she had a good experience cuz now hopefully next time she will like it again! watching the Christmas Program

She was actually excited to sit on santa's lap but once we got up there she wasn't too sure about it..Then santa started waving and she quite enjoyed it and was waving to everyone standing there watching!

I gotta figure out how to work this camera better...the pictures are kinda blurry from all the waving they did! i was kinda bummed about it...but at least she didn't cry!
