1 Yr Already

So here I am thinking about this past year and I am in awe at how fast it went! I can't believe my baby is a year old today! Its a bitter sweet day for me! I don't want her to grow up but yet she is so fun to watch grow and learn! I was thinking about what we were doing last year about this time and yesterday we had gone to the doctor and he figured we'd be back about my due date which was the 22. So we went on with the day, shopped, went to my dad and got adjusted (which triggerd everything), and then we cleaned carpets (which is funny cuz i actually got my carpets cleaned yesterday!) Then i started having contractions so i called my mom and she came over with my sister while luke finished the carpets! We sat around and timed them and they started to get really strong so by then luke was done so he came over and helped! This was all about 6:00. by 8:00 my mom said ok, lets go to the hospital and get checked! So we went there and of course in good ole delta there was no one to be found so i hung on to luke while they tried to find a nurse! So they finally got me in a bed and they were like, uh ya, you aren't going anywhere. There was actually someone already in Labor & Delivery that they had to kick out just for me cuz I was moving alot faster than her! We sat around in there and waited for the epidural to come and after that.....I was pretty happy and enjoyed everyone around me! By 11:00 they had me start pushing just a little to help things and yes it took forever cuz my contractions were so spaced out by then for some reason, but her heart rate stayed good so they let me keep pushing and by 2:35 A.M. on June 19, 2007 Britlyn Alli Duwel was born! I couldn't believe she was actually there! She was so cute and she had a really squished nose! Her dad was quite worried about it. It was smashed to the one side and he kept pushing it over like he was going to fix it! It fixed itself! She is the greatest Blessing in our life! I couldn't ask for a better baby and can't imagine life without her! She can put a smile on anyones face at any time! She is always smiling and giving kisses and hugs! She is so smart and is always learning something new! I can't believe she is a year old! Happy Birthday Britlyn! We Love You!
